Thanks, Helen. We had a dog — he was part American Eskimo, part German shepherd. He was my best friend. Broke my heart to put him down last fall but he was 17 and in pain, could barely walk anymore. I keep expecting him to visit me while I’m gardening. I miss him so.
Yes, Scout loves the crinkle balls a friend bought her — very much like aluminum foil but not as sharp. She can even jump in the air and catch it. We take her outside almost every day and she’s amazing at finding flies and bumble bees. I’m afraid she’s going to catch a bee one of these days. Hope you’re well, Nate!
Pigspittle, Ohio is a place I shall be visiting more often. I’ve put it on my virtual GPS! I’m a true cat fan–have six of the beasts. This one is a real cutie! Thanks so much for visiting The Netherworld!
Thank you for visiting! Six cats?! Wow. When I was growing up, we had a dozen at one point — two girls had two litters. I love ‘em all. We’ve got three now. One has a tumor in his ear and has developed deafness, so he meows extraordinarily loud. Scout, the blind kitty, never meows. Cats are wonderful companions. I can’t imagine a world without them.
Can’t help but smile reading your blog. The blind cat is super special & Pigspittle has such an amazing theme. I think you may have something here. A movie perhaps…hmmm…. I’ll check in from time 2 time for sure…
so sweet 🙂
Thank you! She’s our little girl.
I’m normally more of a dog person, but Scout is gorgeous. Love the ears.

Cute cute cute. Has she been introduced to the mysterious world of string? Our cat is addicted.
She’s not as interested in string, probably because it doesn’t make much sound. Although she does like shoelaces and ribbons attached to things.
Blasphemy! hahaha
My kitten likes a ball of aluminum foil thrown on the floor near him. Seems like the sound it makes might appeal to Scout too.
