So the month of Blogging 101, aka ZerotoHero, has come to an end. I try to incorporate a smidgen of gratitude to my day, so I was pleased that today’s assignment — our final assignment! — is to congratulate five fellow classmates. Before doing so, I would like to thank Michelle W. for the encouragement, advice, and patience in her role as supreme leader.
It is hard to single out five bloggers when I have made acquaintances with so many wonderful, supportive folks in a short time. That said, I’ve selected five individuals I would especially like to congratulate and thank:
bobandemily – Hosted by who I can only imagine as the queen of Gibraltar, the fabulous Nikki, who has generously heaped praise on so many classmates while making us laugh with her own posts.
The Relative Cartographer – Nate has shared many of his talents with us — genealogy, flash fiction, micro flash fiction, part fact/part fiction, lover of maps, promoter of equality. He was among this week’s winners of Yeah Write’s Gargleblasters.
A Boy Named Sue, whose photographic subject matter I find fascinating, and writing I find entertaining. Yes, I admit I do like me a good picture of a dead bird. We are two peas in a pod.
SpiritGrind – Malaika’s writing is kind and sweet and magical, and she shares that same spirit when she visits Pigspittle. I still love this line: and still you smile/like it’s the best day/of your life.
Kerlundphoto – Kerlund’s photos make me feel Sweden is just around the corner…all I have to do is visit her blog and I’m there. I’m grateful, too, for her many kind “likes” that make me feel like I belong here.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve also discovered so many outstanding blogs by writers who remarkably make their living doing what they love, some brilliantly funny writers (a skill that I find absolutely daunting), and a whole lot of inspiration to keep typing away. As my cat Scout would say: Thank you. Love you. Bye-bye.*
*I’m not leaving…just ending this post.
I very much feel like you’re a kindred spirit, Meg. If we cut out all this circuitry and whozamawhatzits, I’m sure we’d be friends. Thanks for the holla! And know you’ve inspired me on several occasions.
Back at ya!
*friend friends, I mean, as opposed to internet friends
Congratulations on completing the challenge! All the best with your future blogging endeavors 🙂

Thank you so much and congratulations for a great job this month:) I will keep following you to read more and see some more of your garden:) I agree with the above comment; hard to pick five…
And I will keep following you!
Congratulations to you. Hope you enjoyed the experience. For me it was awesome and was such a great learning process 🙂
Thanks so much — yes, I enjoyed it tremendously. I’m looking forward to learning how to improve my diet, which is sorely in need of improvement. 😉
🙂 We all need to improve our diet. Have a good day.
Eat All fresh 🙂

Congrats to you, fellow Buckeye!
No, thank YOU! <3
I swear I thought I had commented on this post but… hmm. I guess it evaporated. Or I’m losing my mind. : )
Thank you very much Meg for the kind words and for highlighting me in this post. You’re too kind. I like to think the same thing that Nate said… that you and I would be friends beyond the interwebs and blogospheres.
Big hugs to you from Texas!
OH!!! Wait… wait. You’re in Ohio right?
*aBNS digs around in YouTube for a minute*
That reminds me of this!

OMG. That song is great! Yes, it is cold and rainy in Ohio…that’s exactly the weather we’re having tonight. Thanks, aBNS!
Congratulations on completing Zero to Hero! It’s been wonderful getting to know you and everyone involved. 🙂
Thank you! Back at ya! <3
